The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has once again demonstrated its commitment to developing high-quality human resources through the Undergraduate–Master’s Accelerated Program (Fast Track) for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027. This program provides outstanding undergraduate students with the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree while completing their bachelor’s studies, enabling them to finish both degrees within a shorter period.
In this year’s selection, 45 outstanding students from various study programs within the Faculty of Agriculture were successfully admitted to the Fast Track Program. As recognition of their academic excellence, all admitted students were awarded a full scholarship in the form of a tuition fee waiver for their first two semesters of master’s study.
The Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics also achieved a remarkable milestone, with seven students successfully admitted to the Fast Track Program. Of these, six students were accepted into the Master of Agribusiness Management (MMA) Program, while one student was admitted to the Master of Agricultural Economics (MEP) Program.
The students admitted to the Master of Agribusiness Management (MMA) Program are:

- Vito Petrus Gilbert Sinambela
Meanwhile, the student admitted to the Master of Agricultural Economics (MEP) Program is:
- Muhammad Agrizqi Permana
This achievement reflects the strong academic performance of students from the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, as well as their enthusiasm for advancing their knowledge through graduate education. The Fast Track Program provides an excellent platform for students to deepen their academic expertise, strengthen their research capabilities, and prepare themselves to address the evolving challenges of agricultural and agribusiness development.
Through this accelerated study scheme, students are expected to integrate their undergraduate and graduate learning experiences in a continuous academic journey. In addition to broadening their knowledge, the program fosters the development of graduates who are adaptive, innovative, and well-equipped to contribute to the advancement of agriculture, agribusiness, and national development.
The success of these seven students in the Fast Track Program for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027 highlights both the academic excellence of the Department’s students and the Faculty of Agriculture UGM’s commitment to delivering high-quality, competitive higher education. It is hoped that this accomplishment will inspire other students to pursue academic excellence and seize the opportunities available to further develop their academic and professional potential.
This activity also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality education by expanding access to quality higher education through an accelerated study program and scholarship support for outstanding students, SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth by preparing highly qualified graduates with advanced academic and professional competencies to support the development of the agricultural and agribusiness sectors, and SDG 9: Industry innovation and infrastructure by strengthening research capacity and fostering innovation through graduate education.
