The Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program (PKP), Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada, proudly celebrates the achievements of two of its students at the 2026 Yogyakarta Provincial Student Arts Week (PEKSIMIPROV DIY). Held from 18 June to 2 July 2026, the competition brought together university students from across the Special Region of Yogyakarta to showcase their talents in various artistic disciplines.
Muhammad Al Hazmi Kynan Sutanto earned Third Place in the Vocal Group Competition. This category brought together vocal group representatives from universities throughout Yogyakarta, highlighting participants’ musicality, teamwork, and artistic performance.
Another outstanding achievement was earned by Cantik Djatoek Fadillah, who won Third Place in the Poster Design Competition. As one of the competition categories featured in PEKSIMIPROV DIY 2026, the event challenged participants to communicate creative ideas through visually compelling, innovative, and impactful poster designs.
These accomplishments reflect the commitment of PKP students to excelling not only in academics but also in arts and creativity. Their success demonstrates the ability of PKP students to compete and achieve at the provincial level while bringing pride to the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program, the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, the Faculty of Agriculture, and Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The achievements also align with Universitas Gadjah Mada’s commitment to fostering students’ holistic development through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Participation in competitions such as PEKSIMIPROV provides valuable opportunities for students to develop creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence while representing the university in regional competitions.
These accomplishments contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality education by promoting holistic student development through arts and creativity, SDG 10: Reduced inequalities by providing equal opportunities for students to participate and excel in provincial competitions, and SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities by supporting the appreciation and preservation of arts and culture through student creativity.
