Another proud achievement has been accomplished by a student from the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Alexandros Candra Febrian, a student of the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program (PKP), was named the best graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture during the Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony for Period III of the 2025/2026 Academic Year held on Wednesday, May 21, 2026.
Alexandros achieved an impressive Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.98, reflecting his dedication, consistency, and hard work throughout his academic journey at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM. In addition to his outstanding academic performance, Alexandros is also recognized as a fast-track student who pursued an accelerated academic pathway as part of the university’s academic development program.
Alexandros explained that his decision to join the fast-track program was motivated by his view that the program is one of the flagship programs offered by the Faculty of Agriculture UGM and a valuable opportunity that should not be missed. According to him, the fast-track program provides students with broader academic experiences while also preparing them for future educational and professional challenges.
The achievement of being named the faculty’s best graduate has become a source of pride for the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics. Alexandros’ accomplishment reflects not only academic excellence but also strong adaptability and commitment in completing his studies optimally. His participation in the fast-track program further demonstrates his readiness to continuously develop his academic competencies.

The graduation ceremony held at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM marked an important milestone in Alexandros’ academic journey.
