Three students from the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (EPA) Study Program, Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics (Sosek), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), are participating in a one-semester student exchange program in Japan through the ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program.

The three students are:

  • Gabriella Ivana Dewi Setiadi (EPA 2023) – Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology
  • Ghiffari Putra Agoeng (EPA 2023) – Ibaraki University
  • Robby Ardiansyah (EPA 2024) – Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology

Their participation in the AIMS program provides an opportunity to gain academic experience in an international higher education environment. Through this program, students can become familiar with educational environments in other countries and broaden their academic perspectives through learning experiences at their respective host universities.

The students’ participation in this program is relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality education, which promotes access to quality education, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals, which emphasizes strengthening international cooperation and partnerships.

The participation of these three students reflects the international academic experiences pursued by students within the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economics at UGM.
