The Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) recently held a guest lecture entitled “Dynamics on Agricultural Structure and Capitalism: Lessons from Japan to Indonesia.” This event is a rare opportunity to hear the views of an expert in agriculture, Prof. Dr. ARAI Watanabe Sachiho, from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. A historic moment was again among the extended family of the Department of Agricultural Socio-economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University (UGM). On August 24, 2023, the UGM Social and Social Affairs Department succeeded in graduating 53 graduates and female graduates from two study programs, namely the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program and the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Study Program. In this enthusiastic moment, 4 graduates of the Department of Agricultural Socio-economics graduated with the title “very satisfactory,” and the remaining 49 received the title “with honors.” read more
