The AMI visitation aimed to ensure compliance with internal and national quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance academic and non-academic processes. It also served as a strategic step in preparing for external accreditation by BAN-PT or LAM, while promoting transparency and accountability in program governance. Although some discrepancies with established standards were noted, each study program has prepared follow-up actions to ensure continuous quality improvement in line with the PPEPP cycle (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement).
This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), emphasizing inclusive and high-quality higher education. Additionally, it supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by fostering transparent and accountable governance. Lastly, the commitment to continuous improvement in program management contributes to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), encouraging collaboration among units to achieve higher quality standards.
